This year’s award theme, “City in a Park”, highlights initiatives that demonstrably contribute to a healthy, inclusive and resilient urban environment. The nomination recognizes the landscape quality of the transformation of the former estate, in which cultural heritage, ecology and new programmatic use have been carefully integrated.
From thirty submissions, the jury selected five projects distinguished by spatial quality, innovation and their contribution to the city. We are proud that De Klokkenberg is among this year’s nominees.
We congratulate Stadsingenieurs Breda on winning the 2025 BLASt Award with De Nieuwe Mark, as well as the other nominated teams.
