On Saturday, December 13th, the book "De Vief Köp / The eventful history and restoration of a Maastricht fortification (1515-2025)" was presented. It's a wonderful overview of stories about the history and restoration of the city wall, rampart, and roundel.
With musical accompaniment by the Wiecker Hofzengers, the chairman of the Maastricht Historical Series Foundation presented the first copy to the men of the Royal Woudenberg Construction Consortium, who carried out the real work. For MTD landscape architects, it was also a fitting conclusion to a remarkable historical landscape architectural project.
MTD landscape architects contributed to the chapter on the Restoration and the landscape master plan.
