MTD Landscape Architects, in close collaboration with @Gemeente Tilburg, is working on the strategic concept and design plan for Wilhelminapark, a significant historic park in the Museum Quarter. Designed by L.A. Springer, Wilhelminapark is one of the oldest parks in Tilburg and a cultural-historical gem that has lost part of its significance and visual quality over time.
With its recent designation as a municipal monument, the city aims to enhance its cultural-historical, ecological, and programmatic values, positioning the park as a key focal point in the Museum Quarter.
While the design process is still in full swing, the Brabants Dagblad recently published an extensive article on the developments surrounding Wilhelminapark.

As Alderman @Bas Van Der Pol aptly describes the design challenge in the article:
"We want to improve and protect the park, which is why we designated it as a municipal monument last year. It is a beautiful place, but at the same time, there is a significant difference between the original design and its current state."
MTD Landscape Architects hopes to share more news about Wilhelminapark in the near future!
