Last Wednesday, August 13, 2025, an information meeting was held in Tilburg regarding the renovation of Wilhelminapark. The concept and preliminary design plan were presented to residents, business owners, and other interested parties in the summer setting of the "Wilhelminapark Celebrates Summer" festival. In the heart of the park, they were able to participate in discussions and ask questions about the future of Wilhelminapark, which is over 125 years old and has been a municipal monument since December 2023.

In August 2023, MTD landscape architects was commissioned to develop a strategic concept and design plan for the renovation of one of Tilburg's oldest parks, designed around 1898 by L.A. Springer. In collaboration with the Municipality of Tilburg, principles were established with the ambition to restore the park's historical and monumental value and better connect it to its surroundings. The park also aims to become a safe place where local residents enjoy visiting. Along with the De Pont Museum and the Textile Museum, Wilhelminapark, as a "tree museum," is one of the key locations within the Museum Quarter.
