MTD landscape architects has been working on the landscape design for @INCK since 2022; a new development in Blaarthem, Eindhoven, consisting of 400 homes, both for rent and for sale. The project focuses on living together, connecting, and living healthily in a green urban environment. Public space forms the heart of the plan and is designed to seamlessly intertwine nature, relaxation, and social interaction. Greenery is not merely a backdrop, but a vital part of daily life.
The INCK landscape is inspired by Eindhoven's characteristic stream valley landscape. This landscape layer forms the basis for an ecological and biodiverse design, in which planting and use reinforce each other. By allowing natural processes to flourish, a green living environment is created that is not only pleasant for residents but also contributes to biodiversity, climate adaptation, and a healthy city. INCK is therefore not only a pleasant place to live but also an investment in the future of Eindhoven.
In this project, MTD is collaborating with Faam Architects, Heijmans, Woonbedrijf, and the municipality of Eindhoven to create a cohesive and future-proof residential landscape.
